THE E-CADASTRE STARTED FUNCTIONING IN SKOPJE

In the Center for Real Estate Cadastre – Skopje in the presence of the Vice Prime Minister for Economic Issues – Mr. Vladimir Peshevski, the Minister for Information Society – Mr. Ivo Ivanovski, the Director of AREC – Ljupco Georgievski and the staff of the Agency, the Electronic cadastre system was launched in official use for the territory of the City of Skopje.   

 

 

‘This project is one of the key projects for creating an efficient business climate, especially in working with real estate’ – said the Vice Prime Minister Mr. Peshevski, ‘and Macedonia is one of the few countries in the region that has succeeded in placing such a system in function’. According to the Minister Mr. Ivanovski, with the implementation of the e-cadastre higher openness, efficiency and responsibility is also introduced for the institutions before the citizens, and it also saves time for the users of the services.

 

 

‘The project cost approximately 320 thousand euro, these were funds provided from the budget of the Cadastre and highly sophisticated technology was developed by the company IGEA,’ – said the Director of the Agency for Real Estate Cadastre Mr. Ljupco Georgievski, also adding that the work on the system took less than two years.
